Reservations:

How can I make a reservation through Evoca?

A: By clicking the button “EXPLORE in the upper left corner” and selecting the category “HOTELS” in which you will choose the hotel of your choice.

  • Then click on the “BOOK” button on the page of the selected hotel.
  • Enter the requested information and click on “SEND”.

 

When booking in one of the hotels, do they inmediatly charge to the credit card?

A: A valid credit card is required as a guarantee of your reservation. In case you book a ROOM, we will charge 100% of the total cost of the stay.

The reservation will only be considered as confirmed if Evoca received your credit card details and the guarantee has been charged, otherwise the reservation will be canceled automatically.

 

Are the rates on Evoca’s website better than those found on the hotels’ websites, or on other online booking systems?

A: Hotels are members of Evoca, so our rates are preferential and are located below the traditional limit set by hotels.

 

What does an “on request” reservation mean?

A: The “on request” dates are blocked by the hotels as tentative dates, that is, the confirmation will not be automatic through our portal. The hotel will receive your request and they will confirm via email if there is availability on these dates and how to guarantee it.

 

What is the cancellation policy?

A: In case of cancellation the hotel will refund:

  • 100% of the deposit of the reservations canceled one month in advance of the arrival date.
  • 50% of the deposit of the reservations canceled between 29 and 9 days prior to arrival.
  • The hotel will not refund reservations canceled between 8 days and the arrival date.
  • In high season (December 20 – January 12) the minimum cancellation period is 30 days to receive the refund.

During high season the deposit corresponds to the total amount of the stay and will be charged in advance.

Refunds: In case of refunds, the client will assume the financial and administrative costs corresponding to this procedure.

No Shows: In case of no-show, a penalty equivalent to the total amount of the stay will be charged.

Early departures (in case of departure before the reserved departure date): 100% penalty – (1) one night plus taxes. Late check out (check out before 12:00 AM) will be charged 100% – (1) one night plus taxes.

 

Can I book complete packages through Evoca?

A: In our DESTINATIONS section you will find the destination of your preference, in which you can choose the plans and tours you wish to make.

A: Our hotels are located in the historic center of Cartagena de Indias, in the paradisiacal Múcura Island, on Isla Majagua, Bogotá and in Colombian Coffee Region.

We have 213 rooms in 13 boutique hotels in the Historic Center of Cartagena, 39 beach rooms in Punta Faro Hotel, 17 comfortable rooms in Hotel San Pedro de Majagua, 10 rooms in the city of Pereira, 6 rooms in a Coffee Plantation 20 minutes from the city of Manizales, 5 superior rooms with garden view in the city of Bogotá, 14 comfortable rooms in Honda (Tolima) 3 hours from the city of Bogotá.

How do you get to Hotel Punta Faro in Múcura Island, and what are the departure schedules?

A: Punta Faro Hotel has two own speedboats that meet all the safety requirements and have capacity for 10, 22 and 36 people.

Departure to Punta Faro: Departures are usually made from ‘Muelle de la Bodeguita’; the boats depart from the pier at 11:30 am so passengers must be there at least 15 minutes before.

The journey takes one hour and forty minutes (1:45 hr) to two hours (2:00 hr) of trip, so the appointed time of arrival at Punta Faro is from 1:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.

By hiring the shuttle service to and from the pier through Evoca, passengers will be picked up at 10:50 a.m. in the previously stipulated location.

Departure to Cartagena: The departures from Punta Faro to Cartagena take place at 09:00 a.m. and the arrival time to the city is 11:10 a.m.

It is important to take these schedules into account when scheduling your flights.

 

How do you get to San Pedro de Majagua Hotel, and what are the departure schedules?

A: San Pedro de Majagua Hotel has boats that have all the safety requirements.

Departure to San Pedro de Majagua: Departures to Majagua are normally made from the Marina Santa Cruz pier (Manga neighborhood); the boats depart from the pier at 09:00 am, so passengers must be there no later than 8:45 a.m.

The return to Cartagena takes place between 2:30 pm and 3:30 pm. Journey duration between 50 to 60 minutes.

 

Is it possible to visit Punta Faro just for the day?

A: Due to the departure and return times of the boats it is not possible to visit Punta Faro only for the day, so you should always stay at least two nights.
